特別企画展 「中也とランボー、ヴェルレーヌ」 2024年8月1日(木)～9月23日(月・祝) 中原中也に大きな影響を与えたフランス象徴派の詩人、アルチュール・ランボーとポール・ヴェルレーヌ。中也は17歳のときに彼らの詩に出会い、魅了され続けました。 ランボーがパリへ帰ると言うと、酒に酔ったヴェルレーヌが逆上しランボーに向けて拳銃を2回発砲したとされます。 1発目はランボーの手首に当たり、2発目は壁に当たりました。 ランボー18才、ヴェルレーヌは29才でした。 A major influence on the Symbolist movement, French poet Paul Verlaine was born in Metz, France in 1844. Verlaine was also one of the models for the Decadent movement that began in the 1870s.
